Registration Status
More than 1.2 million Texas voter registrations are on the state’s suspense list. Make sure to check your registration status and register to vote by October 5.
Early Voting
In Tarrant County, all registered voters can vote early. As a bonus, you can vote at any polling location in the county.
Voter ID
You must show an acceptable form of identification in order to vote, like a driver’s license, state ID or passport.
No ID? Fill out a reasonable impediment declaration at the polls explaining why you can’t get one along with a supporting ID.
Voting by Mail
You can vote by mail in Texas only if you are:
65 years or older
Sick or disabled
Going to be out of the county during early voting and on Election Day
Expecting to give birth within 3 weeks before or after Election Day
Confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
