Register to Vote
In Texas, you can register to vote at any time - but to be eligible to vote in an upcoming election you need to register at least 30 days before the election.

Voter ID
Texas has a law that requires voters to show an acceptable form of identification in order to vote.
If you don’t have one of these forms of ID, you can fill out a declaration at the polls describing a reasonable impediment to obtaining it, and show a copy or original of one of the supporting forms of ID.

Voting By Mail
Texas allows vote by mail, but only under specific circumstances.
You are 65 years or older; You are sick or disabled; You are out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; You are expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; You are confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

Early Voting
Tarrant County offers early voting to all registered voters. When voting early, you can cast your vote at ANY polling location in the county.
